Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page lists the cookies and similar technologies used on LipiTools, which is operated by Wasiullah Soomro, Lahore, Pakistan, and how you can control them.

Cookies we set ourselves

None. LipiTools does not set its own cookies. Our analytics, Cloudflare Web Analytics, works without cookies.

Local storage for preferences

Some tools remember a display choice, such as the Urdu font or text size in the typing pad, using your browser's local storage. These entries are named with the prefix ut:, contain no personal information, never leave your device and are never used for tracking. The text you type or paste is never stored.

Advertising cookies (Google AdSense)

The site does not show ads at the moment, so none of these cookies are set today. We plan to add Google AdSense, and this section describes what will happen then. When advertising is active, Google and its partners may set cookies to show ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance and, with your consent where required, personalise ads based on your interests. Common cookie names include __gads, __gpi, IDE, DSID and test_cookie. Google lists the cookies it uses at policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.

Consent cookies

Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland see a consent message from Google, a certified consent management platform, before personalised ad cookies are used. Your choice is stored in cookies such as FCCDCF and FCNEC so the message does not reappear on every page. You can change your choice at any time using the privacy settings link shown with the message.

Security cookies from our host

Our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary cookie such as __cf_bm to tell humans from automated bots. It does not identify you and expires within 30 minutes.

On the contact page only, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the form is sent by a person. It runs in a small frame from challenges.cloudflare.com, does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and is not loaded on any other page.

How to control cookies

  • Use the consent message (EEA/UK/Switzerland) to accept or reject advertising cookies.
  • Turn off personalised ads at adssettings.google.com.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The tools keep working without cookies.
  • Clear site data to remove stored font and size preferences.
